Christos Kotsionis
Founder and Head of the Commercial and Competition Law Department
Christos Kotsionis has been educated in Greece and the United Kingdom and he is admitted before the Supreme Court. He is a member of the Athens Bar Association and the Association of Attorneys at Law specialized in Commercial Law. He consults company groups with department stores, cosmetics chains and distributors of consumers’ goods as well as associations of companies in the agri-food and agriculture business sector. Christos Kotsionis, specialized at EU Law, has been a legal expert/advisor at the Ministry of Rural Development and Food on agri- food and agriculture sectors (food hygiene, official food control, foodstuffs and beverages, feeding stuffs, animal health, phytosanitary, plant protection products, biocides, BIPs, veterinary medicinal products, pesticides/MRLs, seeds, fertilizers, GMOs). He has participated in meetings of the EU Council’s and Commission’s Working Groups on EU drafting Regulations, Directives, Decisions. As a legal expert/advisor on EU Law and Regulatory matters for agri-food and agriculture sectors, he has been involved in EU Projects (1999-2007) to countries candidates to join the EU, inter alia, Cyprus, Malta, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, Turkey and Albania.
